Got my Ride!

At 7am in the morning today, i woke up and couldn't get back to sleep. That has been happening the last 2 days. Its always like that when big things are going to happen on that day or the next one. Today it was the day I had bought my first car!

This is my brand new (in 1988) Daihatsu Charade. A peppy little car I immediately loved from the first rev it made two days ago when we went to test it. Its a 1000cc TS model, a gasoline sipper, which is ideal in these times of economic crisis!

Anyway, we went to pick it up today, put it on my name at the post office, got the keys and hit the road. We went to The Hague (Den Haag) to give it a good wash, which it needed kinda. That car wash did cost me like 1/20 of the value of the car itself. But it was worth it.

And off course I/we took allot of pictures to show you, my readers what I actually am talking about. Anyways, if you live in Holland in the cities mentioned to the right were I usualy am the most, just leave a comment or make a call, and I'll come visit you (just because I wanna ride it over and over! but I don't have anywhere to go!). Put the tea and biscuits ready, and the rest, enjoy the pics. Laterz

Cameramen, more focus on the car plz!
Sunroof! Ready for the Summer!
PS: I will be enjoying the car as long it lasts, didnt pay allot for it, so I cant expect allot either in the reliability department. But so far everything is fine, so, lets just hope that stays like that for a few months.

Well, getting the money to buy it ain't the problem, it didnt cost me allot actually. I'll first test it out between Den Haag and Rotterdam, and if it doesnt break down or something for the next days, maybe I'll take it to Maastricht :P
